A Hard Inquiry - Be careful how many times you are applying for credit. Just one hard inquiry can damage your score up to 15 points.
Collection Accounts and Charge Off Accounts - Each account in collections or charge off status can damage your score up to 110 points. Remember, just because it's paid, does not mean that it automatically is removed from your credit report.
Settled in Full - You will find that a lot of collection agencies will offer to "settle a debt in full". This can cost your credit score up to 125 points per account.
Late Payments - We understand that life happens, but if you have late payments on your credit report, it can damage your score up to 150 points per account, or trade line.
Foreclosure - You will hear people refer to a foreclosure on their credit as an "atomic bomb". This is because a foreclosure can not only drop your score up to 160 points, but just the entry alone being on your credit report can prevent you from being able to even rent an apartment in the future!
Bankruptcy - In some cases, the only way to hit "restart" is to file for Bankruptcy. This can follow you for up to 10 years on your credit report. When this is present, it can damage your score up to 240 points. Consumers assume that they will have a "fall off date" and automatically drop off, that is not always the case. In many cases, the credit bureaus report outdated information that can cost you a significant amount of money in the long run.

We put in our best to ensure that incorrect, inadequate, and inaccurate information is identified and modified, or removed from the credit report. However, you can claim a refund for the last month in the first three months of joining us, if Blue Willow Solutions does not remove any negatives worked on. At that point, you will have had 120 days (4 consecutive months) from the time that you retained our services.
